DESCRIPTION:Culture Retreat – “Nurturing Wellness in Community” \nYour Adinkafarm YRAACC Retreat on August 9th\, provides an opportunity to explore educational and cultural\nexperiences in an environment of positivity. Participants will be exposed to the Adinkrafarm pillars of reclaim\,\nstrategize and grow in a manner that embodies the wisdom of our African ancestors. Participants will have\nopportunities to explore the grounds of Adinkrafarm and participate in presentations\, workshop sessions\, all\nin an environment of peace and wellness with an emphasis on Mental and Physical healing and dialogue. The\nRetreat is structured for 100 % participation. Heal your spirit\, embrace your strengths\, build relationships with\nothers and explore the foundations African Spirituality and mental and physical wellness. \n9:00 am – Arrival\, Breakfast\, Orientation\n10:00 am – Tie Dye Workshop\n11:00 am – Future of African Canadian Community/African Canadian Food Sovereignty/Planting &\nGrowing Food\n12:30 pm – Lunch\n1:30 pm – African Jeopardy\n2:30 pm – Drum and Dance\n3:30 pm – Snack Break\n4:00 pm – Keys to African Canadian Excellence\n5:00 pm – Departure\nFruit and Healthy Snacks will be available throughout the day.
